Seasoned Rice

This aromatic seasoned jasmine rice featuring cumin and cinnamon is a nourishing dish for the family. This recipe was made using the NN-SD79L Cyclonic Inverter Microwave Oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped beans
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1-2 star aniseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Instructions

  • Prepare ingredients and place together in a 3-litre casserole dish.
  • Place in Microwave and cook on P10 for 15 to 18 minutes.
  • Remove from Microwave, stir, cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish to your liking.
