Whisk together flour, baking powder and spices. Set aside.
Beat together butter, sugar and treacle until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients and beat to just combine.
Mix in dried fruit and glace cherries with a spatula.
Remove kneading/mixing hook. Line base of bread pan with baking paper.
Select menu 26, then select 55 minutes.
Test with toothpick. Sticky crumbs are ok, but bake another 5 minutes if batter is still wet.
For the icing, mix everything together in a bowl until quite thick but smooths out after 10-15 seconds. Pour over the top of the cooled cake.
