Madeira Gravy

This rich Madeira gravy is ideal for a wholesome Christmas dinner. The Madeira wine creates a deeper flavour to the gravy adding something a little different to your special Christmas dinner. Dish: large jug

  • 150 ml Madeira
  • 25 g Plain Flour
  • 600 g Turkey or Chicken stock hot
  • 1 tbsp Mustard


  • Stir and mix the Madeira and flour together.
  • Add the mustard to the hot stock, then slowly pour into the flour mix stirring continuously until dissolved and blended.
  • Cook on HIGH MICROWAVE for 2-3 mins stirring halfway.
  • Season and serve.


Made using a Panasonic Convection Microwave. Works best with NN-CS894S and NN-DS596B microwave ovens.
