Hungarian Goulash

Can you really make a rich flavourful stew without using the stove? Yes, you can! Assemble the ingredients in a bowl and heat gently in our NN-CS89L Panasonic Microwave until cooked through. Serve with sour cream to achieve that perfect sweet, savoury, creamy balance that is perfect for winter.

Ingredients

  • 450 g Braised Steak cubed
  • 30 g Seasoned Flour
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Red Pepper deseeded and chopped
  • 400 g Canned Tomato (chopped)
  • 175 g Mushroom
  • 400 ml Hot Beef Stock
  • 45 ml Tomato Puree
  • 30 g Paprika
  • 5 g Sugar
  • 60 ml Sour Cream

Instructions

  • Toss meat in the flour. Combine all ingredients except the sour cream in casserole dish.
  • Cover, place on the base of the oven and cook on 440W for 40-50 minutes or until the meat is tender. Remove from oven immediately and stir in the sour cream.
