Carrot Cake
A classic carrot cake that is moist and delicious is relatively simple to make, but it is even easier with our Panasonic Microwave Oven. Complete with cream cheese frosting and walnuts on top, this carrot cake is hard to resist!

  1. 2 Eggs, beaten
  2. 150ml Vegetable oil
  3. 150gr Self raising wholemeal flour
  4. 100gr Soft light brown sugar
  5. 10ml Cinnamon
  6. 75gr Raisins
  7. 100gr Carrots, grated
For icing
  1. 50gr Cream cheese
  2. 50gr Butter
  3. 100gr Icing sugar
  4. 10ml Lemon, juiced
  5. 50gr Walnuts, chopped
  1. Mix eggs and oils together
  2. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, raisins and carrots in a mixing bowl and pour egg mix into flour and stir well
  3. Pour into dish and cook on the enamel tray on combination: Grill 3 + 440 W for 8 minutes
For the icing
  1. Beat cream cheese and butter together and gradually add icing sugar and lemon juice
  2. Decorate the cake with icing and sprinkle with walnuts
